Dr. Julia Book graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and started working at Bloomsburg Veterinary Hospital the same year. She has an adventurous  Pit bull named Indy. Indy enjoys car rides and comes to work with her most days. Dr. Book enjoys spending time with her husband and children, riding bicycles, gardening and  driving Indy around in her car.

Dr. Amy Grausam was born and raised in Danville, Pennsylvania. She attended Albright College and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania of Veterinary Medicine and soon thereafter joined the team at Bloom Vet. Dr. Grausam enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, Christina, Branden, Anastasia and Elise. She also shares her home with her three dogs named Roslyn, Bella and Lily, and her cat  C.C..

Jennifer Kraft, DVM

A native western New Yorker, Dr. Jenny Kraft graduated from Cornell University in 1985 with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science and in Secondary Education, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. In 1991, Dr. Kraft moved to Columbia County and started as a mixed animal veterinarian for Bloomsburg Veterinary Hospital. When Dr. Larry Smith retired, Dr Kraft made the transition to practicing large animal medicine exclusively and is still enjoying it today. Dr. Kraft and her husband, Nelson, along with their three children, Kate, Becca and Miles live outside of Berwick on their family dairy farm. When not milking and making hay, family time is spent together on the soccer field or in the show ring exhibiting cows or horses in the 4-H programs.

Dr. Elizabeth Brooks is a 2001 graduate of Duke University (Go Blue Devils!) and a 2005 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She spent two years in a private practice in Glenmore, PA before moving to Bloomsburg. Dr. Brooks is originally from San Juan Capistrano, CA. She enjoys fly-fishing, hiking, gardening and the great outdoors in general.

Dr. Todd Brooks is a 1999 graduate of Juniata College in Huntington, PA and a 2003 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. He spent four years in a private practice in Chadds Ford, PA before joining the staff at BVH in 2007. He is a native of central Pennsylvania and enjoys the outdoors. Dr. Brooks likes hunting, fishing, hiking, and working on cars. He is also an avid sports fan of all types but especially enjoys Notre Dame football, New York Yankees baseball, and Duke basketball. Dr. Brooks is happily married to Dr. Elizabeth Brooks and they share their home with their cat Yam.

Dr. Stephanie Crawford is a Bloomsburg native who joined BVH as a small animal veterinarian in 2004. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in 2001. Dr. Crawford places a strong emphasis on practicing high quality evidence-based medicine in a gentle and relaxed manner. Her professional interests include internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. Crawford enjoys numerous outdoor activities- hiking, trail biking, fly fishing and snowshoeing, loves to travel and is a huge Penn State fan. She shares her home with a handsome long hair cat, Murphy and her retired show horse, Bo Tie.

Megan Creasy, DVM

Small Animal Veterinarian

Dr. Megan Creasy was born and raised in Bloomsburg and joined BVH as a large animal veterinarian. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in 2011 and is a 2015 graduate of Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Meg and her husband, Adam share their home with their 2 cats named Stella and Emma, and 1 dog named Khali. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking outdoors, and watching Penn State football games! Now that the Large Animal side of the practice no longer exists, she is focusing on her small animal carrier.

Dr. Martha Faus graduated from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture in 1999. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She enjoyed mixed practice for 10 years. Recently, she shifted her focus to small animal medicine. She lives with her family and their black and white cat.

Laura Kielbasa DVM

Dr. Laura Kielbasa (yes, just like the polish sausage!) was born and raised here in Bloomsburg, PA and her family has trusted their own pets with BVH since she can remember. Dr. K graduated from Temple University in 2009 and earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the TUFTS Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She spent her first 2 years as a mixed practitioner in Sunbury, PA but is now focusing on small animal medicine here in her hometown. She and her husband Corey share their home with three fluffy kitties: Simone, Arjen, and Lucy. In her free time, Dr. K loves gardening, horror films, nearly any kind of music (especially progressive rock/metal), and attending concerts with her husband.
